New Artwork May

As may draws to a close i am really trying to push myself to draw more and get my portfolio and website back in gear. Here is some work iv finished recently...

This is a piece that i think will be a great addition to my portfolio. Its really different then my usual "cute fantasy" style. i really pushed myself here, i hope it shows. Initially the wings looked really crappy and cheap, but i was content to leave them that way, thinking "eh its good enough" but then i realized if i really want to be good at this i cant keep cutting corners so i went all out with them. here was my original attempt

Wow, see the difference? Im glad i decided to spend more time on it.
Here is a simple commission i just finished. I think it will look nice with my other "graphic design" type pieces.

Discovered this font on dafont.com, and it was a b*tch to render.

And here is my current personal project in the works, found some sweet vintage-y photos on etsy.com to reference the colors.

And here is some freelance graphic design i have done for some products. another great portfolio addition. These took A REALLY LONG TIME. so if you dont see me online much i am working, just on stuff like this.

Thats about all for now, i need to get ready to go out. Hopefully my new print shop will be opening this weekend and keep an eye out cuz my first customers get an AMAZING free gift!

chugga chugga chugga...

its been a very busy few weeks, lots of graphic design freelance iv had to play catchup on. designed some shampoo bottle labels as well as a few other product packages. Knocking out the projects one by one. Iv also been catching up on commission work and getting back to my own personal art. here is the last commission i just finished, commissioned by an etsy member.

Im not used to finishing a work in black and white, i hope i did the concept justice! it was definitely fun to step out of the box and do something new.

enjoy

So I was wandering around deviant art when i heard "help help! my subscription is about to run out! please save me from spam and online add dooooom!"

Like a PANTHER i leapt into action! purchasing the most glorious subscription ever to behold! For my heroic act, TWULF granted me a free ink commission!

GAZE AT HER BEAUTY!!!! lol. but seriously TWULF did a great job drawing Ling! His style is different than what I would normally commission for her, but its really cool to see Ling in this way! She came out great!
Check out TWULF on deviant art now!

Been a While...

So i havent posted anything here in like a month.... that frightens me.

For the past few months iv been dealing with alot. emotional and financial stress, the want to be creative but the lack of time due to said financial stress, pending law suit, and a general lack luster attitude towards life.

now that i got that out of the way im slowly coming out of the cloud... i hope! lol. im not pushing my jewelry so much anymore. it was fun but i know its not where my focus needs to be. Ill be treating it more like a hobby from now on a focus on my real passion, artwork and film.

Right now im focusing on getting my portfolio, skills, and resume bulked up so that im ready to take on more projects and adventures. Im hoping that the economy will improve soon so that i can really pursue my hearts venture's such as my terratoff comic / story.

But for now i still need to stay afloat, living pay check to pay check sucks...

anyway im still here... more art on the way.
